Wheat Grass Shots!

I stumbled into Jamba Juice excited to get my morning smoothie, and to start my nutritional journey to awesomeness. I look behind Sierra, who is my smoothie Yoda, and there is a patch of grass... literally a patch of beautiful green grass. Now to be honest, I have heard of wheat grass, and I have heard of the health benefits. I just thought it was something health conscious hippies smoked before a Grateful Dead concert. Or maybe something ultra marathon runners digested instead of real food! It turns out it is a super-food packed with amazing benefits.

So to be clear, wheat grass is amazing. I felt the most real and authentic shift in mood, energy, and mental clarity. This comes from eliminating my fatty foods and embracing both my morning Jamba Juices "Apples N Charge," and a double shot of wheat grass. I do want to stress that it taste like you would think wheat grass taste like, so have an orange for a chaser. Trust me.

 

Before I began my Jamba Juice regimen I had some Jamba, went to the gym, and went home to pizza night. I was feeling great, and as soon as I digested some of that pizza it was like an internal car wreck. Within 20 minutes I felt sluggish and tired. It was truly the first time I felt an obvious shift in the kind of fuel I feed my body. I became a wheat grass disciple at that moment, and have made them a part of my daily routine, well every other day routine!
